As graduation and holiday parties extend into the summer, teens open themselves up to the dangers of alcohol. At a young age, many teens are influenced by celebrities and maybe college age friends who have been out in the world a bit.
We want our teens to have fun, but we first and foremost want them to be safe and stay alive. Parents need to be weary of their teenagers’ role models when it comes to drinking. They are at a high risk age for binge drinking and unfortunately it is also at the age that many are still young and inexperienced drivers.
